DevOps Intern – Cloud CI/CD & AI Testing

About the role

BrainChip is looking for a motivated DevOps Intern to design, build, and validate a CI/CD pipeline that operates across on‑premise and cloud environments. You will also explore how AI can be integrated into testing and quality workflows during a 3‑month, hands‑on project.

Key responsibilities

• Research AI‑in‑the‑loop CI/CD tools and recommend integration strategies.
• Set up a cloud‑based CI/CD environment capable of managing runners across multiple sites.
• Create sample GitHub repositories with code and tests to validate the pipeline.
• Configure and deploy an on‑premise runner at the US site.
• Configure and deploy a cloud runner on AWS or Azure.
• Build and document a complete CI/CD pipeline that executes across on‑premise and cloud environments.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands‑on lab experience with microcontrollers and peripheral devices.
• Proficiency in Python and/or C/C++.
• Familiarity with Git and GitHub workflows.
• Strong problem‑solving and documentation skills.
• Ability to work on‑site in Laguna Hills, CA.
• U.S. citizenship required.
