DevOps Engineer

About the role

Sage Care is seeking a hands‑on DevOps Engineer to architect, scale, and harden the infrastructure behind its AI‑driven healthcare platform. You will own cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes reliability, CI/CD pipelines, and Bazel‑based build systems, working closely with backend and AI engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain GCP infrastructure using Terraform, including GKE clusters across environments.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines, optimize Bazel builds, and implement safe release strategies such as canary and blue/green deployments.
• Implement logging, monitoring, alerting, SLIs/SLOs, and incident response processes to improve reliability.
• Strengthen IAM, secrets management, and least‑privilege controls; harden clusters for HIPAA and SOC2 compliance.

Required profile

• 4–7+ years of DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience with GCP, Kubernetes (GKE preferred) and Terraform.
• Proven ability to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and work with Bazel or similar build systems.
• Experience supporting production systems with high uptime requirements.
