DevOps Engineer

About the role

The DevOps Engineer will own the reliability, scalability, and security of production infrastructure that supports high‑traffic applications used by millions worldwide. Working closely with software engineering teams, you will build automated deployment pipelines, improve observability, and design resilient cloud systems that minimise downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Design, provision and manage immutable cloud infrastructure on AWS using Terraform and Kubernetes across multiple environments.
• Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions or ArgoCD to enable rapid, safe software deployments.
• Implement comprehensive monitoring, logging and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana and Datadog to detect anomalies proactively.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation, troubleshoot production incidents and conduct root‑cause analyses for continuous improvement.
• Enforce security best practices, IAM policies and network segmentation to maintain compliance.
• Write clean, modular code for infrastructure automation and operational tooling in Python or Go.

Required profile

• 3–6 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering or cloud infrastructure management in production.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker and IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Deep understanding of Linux, networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, load balancing) and distributed systems.
• Proven experience building automated CI/CD pipelines and observability stacks with modern tooling.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
