Desktop Support Technician

About the role

We are looking for a reliable, customer‑focused Desktop Support Technician to provide Tier 1‑2 assistance to end users across the organization. You will work on Windows workstations, Microsoft 365 accounts, and basic networking and security tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1‑2 support for Windows desktops, laptops, printers and peripherals.
• Set up, configure and maintain Microsoft 365 user accounts, email, licensing and basic administration.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues, including desktops, laptops, monitors and accessories.
• Install, configure and update operating systems and standard business applications.
• Assist with basic network troubleshooting (connectivity, Wi‑Fi, VPN, printers, ports).
• Support security practices such as endpoint protection, password resets, MFA and access requests.
• Document incidents and solutions in the ticketing system and escalate complex issues.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in desktop support, help desk or similar IT role.
• General knowledge of Microsoft 365 user setup and support.
• Strong understanding of Windows 10/11 operating systems.
• Fundamental networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN).
• Basic IT security awareness.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to lift 40‑50 lb equipment.
