Design Engineer – ADAS

About the role

Goken is seeking a Design Engineer to lead the engineering design and development of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) components from concept through mass production. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams across design, validation, procurement and manufacturing to deliver high‑quality, cost‑effective solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead engineering activities for large‑scale ADAS product development programs, including feasibility studies and concept design.
• Create 3‑D models and 2‑D drawings using CATIA V5 (V6 preferred) and conduct layout reviews.
• Develop and mature assigned components from concept to production, meeting targets for cost, weight, performance and quality.
• Ensure component and subsystem quality through rigorous CAD and technical drawing standards.
• Analyze and resolve complex engineering problems with minimal guidance.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce design costs.
• Travel to client sites as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Technology, Aerospace, Automotive or Manufacturing.
• Minimum 3 years of automotive industry experience designing, developing and packaging ADAS components such as radars, cameras or sensors.
• Proven experience using CATIA V5 (V6 preferred) for 3‑D modeling and 2‑D drawing creation.
