Deputy Program Manager - SOCOM

About the role

Saronic Technologies is seeking a Deputy Program Manager to support its SOCOM‑focused contracts. This hands‑on role will work closely with growth, engineering, production and other cross‑functional teams to translate customer demand into actionable program plans. The position is primarily onsite in San Diego, enabling close collaboration with customers and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Growth to define clear scope and schedules for SOCOM opportunities.
• Prepare proposal inputs, including statements of work and basis of estimate.
• Build and maintain work breakdown structures and execution schedules.
• Support the Program Manager across all process groups: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring & control, and closeout.
• Track schedules, budgets, deliverables, and integration milestones, including GFE/CFE.
• Coordinate design, build, on‑water testing and readiness activities to meet contract milestones.
• Maintain configuration and documentation compliance throughout program phases.
• Serve as daily liaison among Engineering, Production, Quality, and Training teams.
