Deployment Network Manager - Global Data Center Build and Deploy

About the role

Cerebras Systems builds AI chips and works with model labs, enterprises and AI startups, including a multi-year partnership with OpenAI. The Deployment Network Manager is responsible for end-to-end execution of AI cluster deployments in large-scale data centers, from a facility ready for power and cooling to customer hand-off. The role leads rack integration, high-density inter-rack cabling and coordinates with facilities, networking and operations teams to deliver Cerebras Wafer Scale Engine clusters safely, on schedule and to strict quality standards. It involves giving directions to technicians on the data center floor and resolving issues that block deployment, with travel to data centers for weeks at a time.

Key responsibilities

• Lead deployment of AI clusters including Cerebras Wafer Scale Engine, high-speed switches, storage and rack-level infrastructure
• Coordinate rack integration of high-density compute racks, power components (PDUs, busway drops) and ensure alignment with cluster architecture and scaling needs
• Install and test high-speed fiber and copper interconnect cabling for AI fabrics, including spine-leaf and pod-level designs, with proper routing, airflow clearance and labeling
• Work with facilities teams on power capacity, cooling readiness, containment and grounding, and validate white-space readiness before deployment
• Troubleshoot cabling, connectivity and integration issues, lead root-cause analysis of blockers and support validation, burn-in and handoff to operations
• Partner with network, server, AI platform and operations teams, manage parallel deployments across sites or availability zones and communicate risks and milestones to stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with design standards, structured cabling best practices and deployment playbooks, and maintain accurate records of configuration, cabling and deployment status
• Enforce EHS, data center safety and access control procedures and ensure safe handling of heavy, high-power GPU equipment

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT or equivalent practical experience
• 10+ years of experience in data center deployments, infrastructure delivery or integration roles
• Hands-on experience deploying hyperscale AI, ML or HPC infrastructure
• Ability to give directions to technicians on the data center floor and to work under tight timelines and production constraints

Required skills

• Structured cabling in high-density environments and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with high-speed fabrics such as InfiniBand and high-bandwidth Ethernet
• Experience with DCIM or deployment tracking systems
• Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional deployment programs
