DevX Technical Writer - AI Hardware Research

About the role

Cerebras Systems builds the world's largest AI chip, delivering training and inference speeds over 10 times faster than GPU-based cloud services. It is looking for a DevX Technical Writer with deep expertise in AI hardware or software to turn complex technical developments into clear, credible content. The role combines technical research, experimentation and writing, working closely with Developer Relations, Engineering and New Media.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze AI hardware, software and infrastructure trends and industry announcements, and develop original research with a supported point of view
• Write articles and research that make complex ideas accessible without sacrificing accuracy
• Build demos and run reproducible benchmarks to test claims, document methodology, assumptions and limitations
• Synthesize technical and financial information from primary sources and expert conversations into clear insights
• Partner with Developer Relations, Engineering and New Media to validate conclusions and incorporate feedback
• Represent Cerebras at industry conferences and turn findings into research and content
• Use AI tools to accelerate research, coding and writing while independently verifying sources and claims

Required profile

• A strong portfolio of externally published technical writing, research or other substantive technical content
• Deep expertise in AI hardware or software, including architectural and system tradeoffs affecting performance
• Demonstrated experience building demos or running benchmarks, explaining contributions, methodology and results
• Strong research judgment: evaluating sources, distinguishing evidence from assumptions, designing fair comparisons
• Ability to learn unfamiliar technical subjects, collaborate with experts, incorporate feedback and deliver under a deadline

Preferred experience

• Combining technical and financial analysis to explain developments in AI infrastructure
• Turning conference findings or conversations with technical experts into published research
