Department Manager

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Department Manager to lead one of our key restaurant areas. You will work for an independent franchisee operating a McDonald’s‑branded restaurant, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, high‑quality food service, and efficient people operations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee assigned department (Guest Service, Kitchen, or People) and ensure daily targets are met.
• Manage systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management.
• Set performance goals, delegate tasks, monitor progress, and report results to senior management.
• Ensure crew and managers deliver fast, accurate, and friendly service.
• Maintain organized Front Counter, McCafé, and Drive‑Thru areas for optimal service flow.
• Control food costs, uphold food safety standards, and train staff on production procedures.
• Recruit, train, and schedule qualified crew to meet sales and profit objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading shifts in a fast‑food or restaurant environment.
• Strong ability to motivate teams and drive consistent service quality.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Commitment to safety, hygiene, and operational standards.
