Department Manager

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Department Manager to lead a key area of our independent restaurant franchise. You will be responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience, maintaining high food quality standards, and ensuring efficient staffing and operations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the assigned department (Guest Service, Kitchen, or People).
• Ensure customers receive fast, accurate, and friendly service.
• Maintain food safety and quality standards, controlling food costs.
• Train and develop crew members on service, production, and safety procedures.
• Manage inventory, scheduling, and staffing to meet sales and profit goals.
• Set departmental goals, delegate tasks, monitor performance, and report results.

Required profile

• Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality management.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to motivate and coach a diverse team.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on customer satisfaction.
