About the role

Lakewood Complete Dentistry is looking for a reliable Dental Hygienist to join its team and help elevate the community’s oral health. This full‑time position offers the chance to work in a supportive environment while delivering top‑quality preventive care.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive oral hygiene assessments, review medical histories and update dental charts.
• Scale and polish teeth, removing plaque and calculus along the gumline.
• Take dental radiographs and assist the dentist with diagnostic procedures.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and provide personalized preventive care instructions.
• Administer fluoride treatments, apply dental sealants, and conduct periodontal charting.
• Assist the dentist during procedures while maintaining a sterile environment.
• Conduct oral cancer screenings and flag any abnormalities.
• Manage patient recall systems and schedule follow‑up appointments.
• Maintain accurate dental records and ensure compliance with infection‑control protocols.
• Stay current with advances in dental hygiene techniques and technologies.

Required profile

• Current Colorado Registered Dental Hygienist license.
• CPR certification.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Comfortable using Open Dental software.
• New graduates are welcome; attitude and potential are valued.
