Dental Assistant – Serve Military Health Readiness

About the role

DOCS Health is seeking passionate Dental Assistants to provide direct dental care to U.S. military service members. The position is part‑time, primarily on weekends, and involves working in mobile exam rooms and operatories to ensure troops are deployment‑ready.

Key responsibilities

• Perform dental examinations, treatments, and capture digital X‑rays (bite‑wing and panoramic).
• Assist chair‑side, sterilize instruments, and handle basic administrative duties.
• Travel to military bases as required, adhering to security and background‑check protocols.

Required profile

• Active Dental Assistant certification (CDA, RDA, EDDA, EFDA) with Alaska radiology certification.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Eligibility for base entry and willingness to undergo background, criminal, and drug screening.
• Availability to work weekends.

Required skills

• 4‑handed dentistry proficiency.
• Experience with digital radiography (BW & PANO).
• Knowledge of instrument sterilization procedures.
