Demand Planning Manager

About the role

Moog is seeking a Demand Planning Manager to own the unconstrained demand plan for the Commercial Aircraft Group across original equipment, aftermarket, and MRO segments. The role supports Integrated Business Planning and aligns demand signals with operational capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a single rolling demand plan for OE, aftermarket, and MRO product lines, documenting assumptions, risks, and opportunities.
• Lead the monthly Demand Review process within the IBP framework, collaborating with program, commercial, operations, finance, and supply chain teams.
• Develop forecasting models using customer signals, historical consumption, market intelligence, installed base analysis, and reliability trends.
• Monitor forecast accuracy and bias, identify root causes of variances, and implement corrective actions.
• Provide demand projections and risk assessments to support supply planning, inventory, financial forecasting, and executive decisions.
• Support advanced planning system initiatives such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP IBP, and Kinaxis Maestro.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, Industrial Engineering, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, IBP, or S&OP.
• Proven ability to influence cross‑functional teams and communicate with senior leadership.
• Experience in commercial aerospace, aftermarket/MRO, or complex industrial forecasting preferred.

Required skills

• Statistical and assumption‑based forecasting methodologies.
• Advanced Excel, Power BI, and data analytics.
• ERP and advanced planning systems: SAP, SAP S/4HANA, SAP IBP, Kinaxis Maestro.
• Strong analytical capabilities to interpret complex data and identify trends.
