Demand Planner

About the role

We are seeking a highly analytical and collaborative Demand Planner to support demand forecasting, inventory planning, and S&OP activities in Charlotte, NC. The role involves developing accurate forecasts and working closely with cross‑functional teams to drive business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve short‑term and long‑term demand forecasts across products, SKUs, sales channels, and customer segments.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product Planning, Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations to create consensus forecasts and support monthly S&OP and IBP processes.
• Monitor forecast accuracy and bias, investigate variances, and adjust forecasts based on market conditions and business priorities.
• Support inventory planning to balance product availability with minimizing excess and obsolete stock.
• Partner with Supply Planning and Operations to align forecasts with production, sourcing, and distribution requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, Analytics or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or related analytical functions.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills with ability to work across multiple departments.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel for large data set analysis.
• Experience with ERP systems and demand‑planning or supply‑chain planning software.
