About the role

Azusa Pacific University seeks a visionary leader to serve as Dean of the School of Business and Management. Reporting to the Provost, the Dean will guide the school’s academic and administrative functions while championing the university’s Christ‑centered mission.

Key responsibilities

• Provide academic vision and strategic direction for the School of Business and Management, including the Leung School of Accounting.
• Lead faculty development, curriculum innovation, and accreditation processes.
• Oversee budget planning, financial stewardship, and resource allocation.
• Drive student success initiatives and enhance learning outcomes.
• Collaborate with the Academic Cabinet and dean peers on cross‑disciplinary programs.
• Expand external partnerships with industry and community stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior academic leadership (e.g., dean, associate dean, department chair) within a business education context.
• Commitment to the university’s evangelical Christian values and mission.
• Strong record of strategic planning, budget management, and accreditation oversight.
• Ability to foster collaborative relationships with faculty, staff, students, and external partners.
