About the role

Join PwC's Deals – Capital Markets & Accounting Advisory Services (CMAAS) team as a Summer 2028 intern. You will work alongside experienced professionals to support clients navigating complex accounting standards and capital‑market transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Support execution of capital‑markets transactions and financial reporting.
• Assist in preparing carve‑out financial statements and merger accounting work.
• Analyze deal structures and contribute to organization‑restructuring efforts.
• Participate in project‑management tasks to streamline advisory services.
• Help prepare regulatory reporting and revenue‑recognition documentation.
• Observe and aid in IPO and private‑equity transaction preparation.
• Gather and analyze market data to support financial decision‑making.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Eligible to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment before starting full‑time.
• Typically in the 3rd year of a 4‑year program or 4th year of a 5‑year program, joining before graduation.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Understanding of financial reporting and regulatory reporting concepts.
