About the role

This internship offers a hands‑on experience within PwC’s Deals – Capital Markets & Accounting Advisory Services (CMAAS) team. You will support clients on complex accounting and transaction matters while gaining exposure to the firm’s advisory practice.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the execution of capital‑markets transactions and related financial reporting.
• Help prepare carve‑out financial statements and merger accounting work‑papers.
• Support analysis of deal structures and organizational restructuring initiatives.
• Contribute to project‑management tasks that streamline transaction advisory services.
• Participate in the preparation of regulatory reporting and revenue‑recognition documentation.
• Observe and aid in preparations for IPOs and private‑equity transactions.
• Gather and analyse market data to inform client financial decisions.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Eligible to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment before starting full‑time.
• Typically in the third year of a four‑year program or fourth year of a five‑year program.
• Available to join during the winter/spring period prior to graduation.
