Dealer Relationship Manager – Delaware & Greater Philadelphia

About the role

The Dealer Relationship Manager (DRM) is an outside sales role focused on building and maintaining strong partnerships with franchised and independent auto dealerships in Delaware and the Greater Philadelphia area. The DRM drives loan originations, educates dealers on Santander’s finance products, and ensures exceptional service and responsiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Establish, develop, and manage trusted relationships with automotive dealerships within the territory.
• Promote Santander’s auto finance programs, OEM programs, small‑business and dealer commercial products, and digital services.
• Execute sales strategies and support initiatives directed by sales management.
• Identify market trends and competitive activities to uncover growth opportunities.
• Provide ongoing education to dealerships on finance program guidelines, underwriting policies, and digital tools.
• Conduct regular dealer visits to understand business needs and maximize engagement.
• Maintain accurate account and contact records.
• Partner with Credit and Funding teams to deliver superior service and resolve dealer issues quickly.
• Coordinate meetings between dealer principals and commercial services partners.
• Communicate dealer performance KPIs to dealership owners and management.

Required profile

• Reside within the assigned Delaware or Greater Philadelphia sales territory.
• Experience in outside sales, preferably within auto finance or automotive dealership environments.
• Strong relationship‑building and communication skills.
• Ability to travel for in‑person meetings and events.
