About the role
Provide academic support to K-5 students in San Diego, delivering personalized tutoring both in‑home and online.
Key responsibilities
- Provide academic support aligned with the state curriculum.
- Assign supplemental work to deepen understanding.
- Offer remedial and enrichment assistance.
- Communicate student progress to parents or guardians.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Valid California teaching certificate, or be a student teacher, or have 2+ years teaching experience, or university teaching experience, or be a graduate student with TA experience.
Required skills
- Energetic and enthusiastic teaching style.
- Excellent communication and customer service.
- Ability to adapt to various learning styles.
