Day Shift Maintenance Mechanic

About the role

Join a leading paper manufacturing company as a Maintenance Mechanic on the day shift. You will keep the plant running smoothly by quickly diagnosing and repairing equipment, minimizing downtime and supporting production goals.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering blueprints and schematics to troubleshoot pneumatic and mechanical breakdowns.
• Install, service, inspect and maintain machinery such as motors, conveyor and transmission systems.
• Repair or replace faulty equipment, working closely with the maintenance manager and machine operators.
• Fabricate parts for repairs and upgrades as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance and safety checks in line with OSHA standards.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of experience as an industrial maintenance technician.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems.
• Familiarity with a CMMS (eMaint) for work order management.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lb and work in a non‑temperature‑controlled environment.
• Willingness to work occasional overtime or extra hours.
