Data Platform Delivery Director

About the role

NXP is looking for a Data Platform Delivery Director in Austin to build and lead the delivery system that turns enterprise data foundations into trusted, reusable Gold data products. The Director owns a multi-team Foundation delivery organization and coordinates federated Gold delivery teams across Finance, Supply Chain, Sales and other domains, making the role accountable for predictable delivery, end-to-end integration and cross-domain harmonization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead approximately six delivery teams of five to six people each, covering data engineering, platform engineering, data management, product delivery and platform operations, and set up a multi-team cadence with planning, capacity, quality gates and release readiness.
• Run a hub-and-spoke model where the central Foundation organization provides reusable platform capabilities, certified source data, controls and services, while business-domain teams own their Gold data products.
• Harmonize Gold products across domains, aligning canonical definitions, keys, master and reference data, dimensions, quality rules, lineage and reusable patterns.
• Own the release interface between Foundation and Gold, including versioned data contracts, sequencing, testing and release coordination.
• Lead deployment and evolution of the One Data Platform, including data storage and exchange, provisioning, platform operations, Databricks adoption and self-service enablement.
• Enable data management, marketplace and governance, including cataloging, metadata, lineage, business glossary, stewardship and data quality, and partner with Data Governance and Quality leadership.
• Manage stakeholders, portfolio and business outcomes, translating priorities into an integrated roadmap and communicating status, risks and outcomes to executives and business leaders.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Typically 10-15 years of relevant experience, including leadership of multiple data, platform, software or product delivery teams in a complex global enterprise.
• Demonstrated experience leading a scaled delivery organization of 30 or more professionals through managers, team leads, product owners or matrix leadership.
• Proven ability to coordinate federated teams that do not all report directly to the role.
• Semiconductor industry experience is preferred.
