About the role

Infosys Financial Services is seeking a Data Modeler & Architect to join its Architecture Consulting team in Charlotte, NC. The role focuses on designing and implementing data‑centric solutions for financial institutions, leveraging AI, cloud, and big‑data technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in customer discussions to gather and analyse system requirements for performance, security and scalability.
• Provide solution‑architecture recommendations, contribute to technology framework development and support enterprise‑architecture definition.
• Identify market‑available technologies and perform comparative analysis to select optimal architectural options.
• Develop integration strategies and validate proof‑of‑concepts for proposed solutions.
• Ensure knowledge transfer, quality standards, and support build‑deployment automation.
• Collaborate with development teams to resolve complex technical issues during build, deployment and support phases.
• Analyse system performance of implemented architectures and flag potential risks.
• Create architectural artifacts and technical documentation to enrich the team’s knowledge repository.

Required profile

• Strong analytical ability to capture and interpret business and technical requirements.
• Experience in solution architecture and enterprise‑level design.
• Proficiency in evaluating and recommending technology stacks.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional development teams.
