Data Lead - Senior Consultant, AI & Engineering

About the role

Deloitte US is looking for an experienced Data Lead - Senior Consultant within its AI & Engineering practice, based in Washington, DC. The role leads a client's large product and vendor consolidation workstream, owns the delivery roadmap end to end and works with engineers, executives and other stakeholders. The firm's AI & Data practice helps clients design, develop and operate advanced data and AI platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the client through a large product and vendor consolidation workstream
• Own the delivery roadmap end to end, sequencing dependencies and surfacing risks early
• Drive decisions that keep the consolidation on track despite competing vendor timelines and shifting priorities
• Interact with executive, technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Handle ambiguity in new technical environments
• Support post-production maintenance and monitoring
• Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members and representatives from functional and technical teams, escalating matters that need attention

Required profile

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in technical product management
• Experience working across multiple engineering product teams
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or a related IT discipline, or equivalent experience
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
• Able to travel about 10% on average, depending on clients and sectors
