About the role
Infosys is seeking a Data Governance Consultant to join its Financial Services unit in Charlotte, NC (with potential work in Richmond, VA). The role focuses on delivering data governance and quality initiatives for leading financial institutions, leveraging AI, cloud, and advanced analytics.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and manage project timelines, identifying and resolving resource gaps to ensure on‑time delivery.
- Serve as the primary liaison between technical teams and client stakeholders, facilitating regular meetings and milestone reviews.
- Support functional teams in advisory and consulting activities, including product evaluation, benchmarking, and system configuration.
- Monitor project deliverables across all phases, ensuring they meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations.

- Strong ability to build collaborative relationships through effective communication.
- Governance focus on project scope with an eye for identifying additional opportunities.

- Implementation and management of Data Governance and Data Quality frameworks using Collibra.
- Integration of Collibra with data platforms.
- Data management, metadata handling, and ETL processes.
- Data science programming with Python.
