Data Entry Clerk

About the role

Buckland is seeking a Data Entry Clerk to support its customs and logistics operations. The successful candidate will collect information from internal teams and customers, then accurately capture it in the company’s databases. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑level customer service to clients, vendors, and service providers.
• Maintain the company database by entering new and updated customer and customs account information.
• Accurately input data into various software programs and prepare related reports.
• Monitor and update existing data as needed.
• Identify discrepancies, report them to the team leader, and assist in resolution.
• Offer ad‑hoc data entry support to multiple teams.
• Perform other clerical duties and projects as assigned.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of data‑entry experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Basic knowledge of customs paperwork.
• Physical ability to sit for long periods and lift up to 15 lb occasionally.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency with PC and MS Office applications.
• Proficient typing skills.
