Data Engineer – ETL & Spark Technologies

About the role

Infosys' Data and Analytics (DNA) unit is seeking a Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines using Spark technologies. The role focuses on turning raw data into actionable insights that drive business growth and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Document and contribute to business requirements during the elicitation process.
• Facilitate software design discussions and capture design decisions for the technical team.
• Develop, code, and integrate new features or updates into existing applications while ensuring system stability.
• Conduct code reviews, modify the codebase, and maintain code repositories.
• Implement test strategies, analyze results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold quality standards.
• Create user training materials, documentation, and support frameworks for smooth application adoption.
• Participate in resolving production issues and recommend preventive measures to improve reliability.
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities for knowledge sharing.
