Data Engineer – Consulting

About the role

Credera is seeking a passionate Data Engineer to join its Data Engineering capability group. The role is client‑facing, working on project‑based teams to design and implement enterprise‑scale data solutions across multiple industries.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, build, and optimise data pipelines and data‑flow processes.
• Develop cloud‑based data solutions that support data collection, transformation, and analysis.
• Collaborate with strategy and technology consultants on data‑strategy, data‑science, modern data architecture, and data‑visualisation projects.
• Wrangle, explore, and analyse data to answer business questions and identify improvement opportunities.
• Contribute to project planning, delivery, and client communication.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 + year of experience in a Data Engineering role.
• Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems or a related quantitative field.
• Strong project‑management and organisational abilities.
• Comfortable working in fast‑paced, client‑oriented environments.
• Consulting experience is a plus.

Required skills

• Experience building and optimising data pipelines and data architecture.
• Proficiency in data wrangling, exploration and analysis.
• Experience deploying cloud‑based data solutions.
