Business Analyst - Treasury

About the role

Asure Software, a provider of Human Capital Management (HCM) software, is hiring a Business Analyst for its Treasury product. The role links Treasury Product Management, customers and development, and works on solutions covering cash management, payments, banking connectivity, reconciliation and forecasting. It is a hybrid position based in Dallas, TX, with candidates from the Phoenix area also considered.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze financial reports, market research and operating procedures for Treasury solutions, then meet with executives and stakeholders to recommend improvements
• Gather and document business and functional requirements (BRDs, FRDs, use cases) for features such as cash forecasting, bank reconciliation and payment processing
• Hold interviews, workshops and surveys with Treasury customers and internal stakeholders, and prioritize requirements by business value and feasibility
• Write business requirements documents and turn them into epics and user stories for agile delivery teams
• Work with developers on prototypes and mock-ups, identify automation opportunities and create reports, dashboards and visualizations
• Recommend process improvements, track project progress, manage requirement changes and give regular status updates
• Support testing by writing test plans and test cases and running user acceptance testing
• Train end users on new Treasury features and conduct market research on treasury and banking trends

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Engineering or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in a related field or position
• Preferred: experience in treasury management, banking, payments or fintech software, and working knowledge of treasury and cash management concepts
• Preferred: familiarity with a treasury management system such as Kyriba or GTreasury
• Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams and using project tracking software such as Jira or Confluence

Required skills

• Advanced Excel, data mining/manipulation and report creation
• Ability to multi-task, work independently and in a team, and adapt to change

• Base salary of $95,000 - $115,000 depending on experience and location
