Data Center Project Executive (Construction)

About the role

Reporting to the Data Center Construction Director, the Data Center Project Executive leads the planning, execution and delivery of large-scale data center builds across multiple regions. The role ensures projects are delivered on time, on budget and to high quality, partnering with design, construction and leadership teams to turn capacity goals into executable plans, from site mobilization to customer handover.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage integrated project schedules (Primavera P6, MS Project) across design, procurement, construction and commissioning
• Own project budgets, cash flow forecasting and change order governance, and track earned value metrics
• Lead design review milestones (30/60/90%), maintain RACI matrices and action logs
• Manage the full contract lifecycle, including RFPs, bid analysis, awards and close-out documentation
• Identify and mitigate critical path risks, including long-lead equipment such as transformers, chillers and switchgear
• Act as central coordinator for stakeholders, delivering clear status reporting
• Lead cross-functional teams including project managers, construction managers and site leadership, and build and scale project teams
• Drive operational excellence through standups, reviews and retrospectives

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline (Construction Management preferred)
• 10+ years of project management experience in hyperscale data centers, large industrial or infrastructure projects
• PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent certification preferred
• Experience delivering fast-track, complex projects across multiple geographies
• Experience building and leading distributed teams across regions and time zones
• Willingness to travel 80%+ to project sites
