Data Architect / Principal Data Engineer III (Onsite, Cincinnati)

About the role

We are seeking a senior‑level Data Engineer with expertise in DBT, Snowflake, and SQL to design and deliver scalable data solutions in a high‑impact banking environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support data solutions, APIs, tools, and processes to enable rapid delivery of business capabilities.
• Collaborate with IT application teams, enterprise architecture, infrastructure, information security, and business stakeholders to translate strategies into data‑driven solutions.
• Act as a technical expert addressing system and application design, performance, integration, and security challenges.
• Conduct research and development on emerging banking and data engineering technologies.
• Build CI/CD pipelines, self‑service tools, and automated deployment processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• Seven or more years of relevant IT experience, preferably in the financial industry.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with management, business, and technical audiences.
• Experience working with offshore teams is desired.
