Data Analyst – Programs & Impact

About the role

As a Data Analyst focused on Programs & Impact, you will turn complex client and program data into actionable insights that guide decisions across YWCA Seattle | King | Snohomish. You will work closely with program leaders, finance, and executive teams to build dashboards, improve reporting, and ensure data quality for more than 70 programs serving thousands of community members.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and compile client demographics, services, and outcomes to support program and strategic initiatives.
• Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Excel, SQL, R, and other reporting tools.
• Create and automate recurring reports for internal teams and funders.
• Translate data into clear, actionable insights for non‑technical audiences.
• Clean, transform, and load data into SQL and R to improve accessibility and accuracy.
• Design, implement, and optimize SQL queries for reporting and data extraction.
• Document data definitions, processes, and reporting standards.
• Support and co‑administer data systems such as ClientTrack and HMIS, including training users and troubleshooting issues.

Required profile

• Experience analyzing client‑focused data and producing reports for program evaluation.
• Ability to communicate findings to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Comfort working in a hybrid environment with periodic onsite collaboration.
