Data Analyst Internship – Educational Analytics

About the role

ConnectPrep is looking for a Data Analyst Intern to join its cross‑disciplinary team. You will work closely with educators and engineers to validate, iterate, and operationalise the models that power our learning analytics platform.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with teachers to test and refine analytics models.
• Build simple data pipelines and analysis scripts using Python and SQL.
• Perform data mining, cleaning, and integration from web, internal trackers, and marketing platforms.
• Support AI‑driven chatbot development and other AI workflows.
• Conduct SEO and keyword research, analyse website traffic, and create basic dashboards.
• Assist with data analysis for marketing campaigns, content performance, and business operations.
• Document, test, and iterate new data and AI processes.

Required profile

• Strong quantitative and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Studying or graduated in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• Curiosity about how data can improve learning outcomes.
• Experience with at least one of: SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), or building simple data pipelines.
• Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, charts, and optional VBA/macros.
