Cybersecurity Software Engineer – New Graduate (Dec 2026)

About the role

Applied Intuition is seeking a motivated new‑graduate Cybersecurity Software Engineer to help embed security into its vehicle platforms. You will join a dedicated security team, receive mentorship from senior engineers, and contribute to protecting next‑generation autonomous systems.

Key responsibilities

• Perform security assessments for existing and upcoming products.
• Design and implement secure boot processes for embedded devices.
• Partner with hardware engineers to integrate Hardware Security Modules (HSM) and manage cryptographic keys.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, QA, and product teams to embed security throughout the development lifecycle.

Required profile

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field, graduating by December 2026.
• Coursework, internship, research or project experience in cybersecurity or embedded systems.
• Foundational understanding of cryptographic principles, protocols and algorithms.
• Strong curiosity about security challenges in autonomous vehicle platforms.

Required skills

• Programming in C, C++ and Python.
• Embedded systems development.
• Secure boot implementation.
• HSM integration and key management.
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as FIPS 140‑2 or Common Criteria (a plus).
