Cybersecurity Manager

About the role

Amentum is looking for a Cybersecurity Manager for a large-scale contract operated near the Riverside metro area. The position is pipelined for a future contract award, and the candidate performs the duties in a traditional office environment.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and administer the overall strategies and procedures for the cybersecurity function.
• Develop and implement a cybersecurity program in accordance with DoD standards.
• Evaluate cybersecurity risks regularly and promote cybersecurity awareness within the organization.
• Create cybersecurity strategies and objectives, and develop budgets, policies and procedures to support cybersecurity infrastructure.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field.
• Seven years of information technology experience with DoD efforts.
• Five years of managerial experience with DoD efforts.
• Experience managing a dispersed workforce while securing an integrated network and a dispersed group of networks.
• Active TOP SECRET US Government clearance (US citizenship is required to maintain it).

Required skills

• ITIL 4 Foundational or higher certification.
• Preferred: advanced degree in information technology or a related field.
