Cyber Training Specialist (TS/SCI)

About the role

A2 Federal, an 8(a) and Service Disabled, Veteran-Owned small business, is hiring a Cyber Training Specialist in San Antonio, Texas. The role works closely with USCYBERCOM and the Air Force Cryptologic Office (AFCO) to develop, review and validate joint training requirements for cyber work roles, and requires a TS/SCI clearance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee training development of all courses under AFCYBER's purview.
• Act as Joint Curriculum Lead (JCL), ensuring compliance with USCYBERCOM's validation process and integrating training pipelines into the Joint Cyber Command and Control-Readiness system.
• Take part in USCYBERCOM-led Joint Training Lead synchronization meetings and provide content-driven data analysis to support major training decisions.
• Collaborate with AFCO on training requirements for cryptologic cyber work roles and refine them to match work-role-specific tasks and KSAs.
• Liaise with Peer Service and Wing points of contact to review training documentation such as Joint Qualification Records and USCYBERCOM instructions on defensive and offensive cyber operations.
• Work with USCYBERCOM to develop and validate joint training requirements for combatant command missions, including coordinating Service SME attendance at Cyber Standards Analysis Team working groups.

Required profile

• At least 6 years of experience conducting analysis relevant to the labor category, with at least some of it in the last 2 years.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, or an associate's degree plus 4 more years of related experience (total 10 years).
• Familiarity with USCYBERCOM guidance.
• Desired: formal military training in a cyber work role and experience with Instructional System Design.
