Cyber Security Research Analyst – Advanced Defense Technologies

About the role

Global InfoTek, Inc. is seeking a senior Cyber Security Research Analyst to lead investigations into next‑generation cyber defense technologies. The role focuses on quantum‑resistant cryptography, microelectronics supply‑chain risk management, and hardware‑level security architectures for future DoD weapons systems and microchip foundries.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct advanced research on post‑quantum cryptography (PQC) standards and transition roadmaps.
• Assess microelectronics supply‑chain risk, counterfeit detection, and hardware security vulnerabilities.
• Analyze zero‑trust architectures at the silicon and firmware level, including Root of Trust, TPM, and Secure Boot.
• Produce technical risk analyses and publish findings on emerging commercial technologies for defense integration.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in cyber defense research, PQC, or hardware security.
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science.
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of quantum‑resistant cryptography and NIST PQC algorithms.
• Expertise in microelectronics supply‑chain risk management and counterfeit detection.
• Understanding of zero‑trust hardware architectures (Root of Trust, TPM, Secure Boot).
• Experience with microchip reverse engineering, side‑channel analysis, and trust verification tools.
