Cyber Security Operations Analyst

About the role

The Cyber Security Operations Analyst is responsible for protecting the organization’s information systems by monitoring, detecting, and responding to security threats. This role ensures the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data across all platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Perform security‑monitoring on network devices, servers, applications, and databases.
• Monitor SIEM, firewalls, servers, web proxies, IDS/IPS, and WAF logs to identify malicious activity.
• Participate in incident response when suspicious activity is detected.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining corporate security policies aligned with Sarbanes‑Oxley, HIPAA, and PCI compliance.
• Configure and maintain security tools such as anti‑virus, APT protection, DLP, web content filtering, vulnerability scanners, forensics tools, database monitoring, and email content filters.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and risk management.
• Experience monitoring network traffic and investigating security incidents.
• Ability to develop and enforce security protocols and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem‑solving capabilities.
