Cyber Security Analyst – Threat Detection & Response

About the role

Aaratech Inc is looking for a detail‑oriented Cyber Security Analyst to protect its systems, networks and data from cyber threats. You will monitor security alerts, investigate incidents, manage vulnerabilities and support compliance with industry frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and logs using SIEM tools and investigate suspicious activities.
• Analyze system, application and network logs to detect anomalies and threats.
• Respond to cybersecurity incidents, support containment, remediation and recovery, and document findings.
• Perform vulnerability scanning, risk assessments and work with IT teams to apply patches and security updates.
• Assist in implementing security policies and ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2 and CIS frameworks.
• Utilize security technologies such as SIEM (Splunk, QRadar, Microsoft Sentinel), EDR, firewalls, IDS/IPS and vulnerability scanners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security roles.
• Strong knowledge of network security, threat detection, vulnerability management and incident response processes.
• Experience with SIEM platforms and endpoint security solutions.
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2 or CIS.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
