Cyber Security Analyst – SOC Threat Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Cyber Security Analyst to join our Security Operations Center. In this position you will lead real‑time threat detection, incident response, and proactive threat hunting across a complex enterprise environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor network security alerts, perform continuous log reviews and escalate potential incidents.
• Maintain and support core security toolsets (SIEM, SOAR) ensuring health, policy alignment and effective operation.
• Lead advanced incident investigations, coordinate threat containment and execute remediation for high‑priority alerts.
• Conduct threat intelligence monitoring and hunt for undetected adversaries within the network.
• Assist in designing, implementing and verifying Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) principles, including micro‑segmentation and identity‑centric access controls.
• Analyze malicious activity across endpoints, applications and logs as the final escalation tier before senior management notification.
• Develop and automate response playbooks (SOAR) and write custom detections to streamline SOC operations.
• Mentor junior and mid‑level SOC analysts, providing technical guidance and training.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent experience.
• 7‑9 years of dedicated SOC or Threat Analyst/Incident Response experience.
• Experience implementing or defending Zero Trust environments.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain appropriate government security clearance.
• Compliance with all relevant policies and standards.
