Cyber Security Analyst

About the role

Aaratech Inc is looking for a detail‑oriented Cyber Security Analyst to protect its systems, networks and data from cyber threats. The analyst will monitor security alerts, investigate incidents, manage vulnerabilities and support compliance with industry frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and logs using SIEM platforms and other security monitoring tools.
• Investigate suspicious activities, analyse system, application and network logs to detect anomalies.
• Respond to cybersecurity incidents, support containment, remediation and recovery, and document findings.
• Perform vulnerability scanning, risk assessments and work with IT teams to apply patches and updates.
• Assist in implementing security policies and ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2 and CIS frameworks.
• Participate in security audits, risk assessments and maintain relevant documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security roles.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Eligibility limited to U.S. citizens and Green Card holders; no visa sponsorship.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with SIEM tools such as Splunk, QRadar or Microsoft Sentinel.
• Knowledge of Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions.
• Proficiency with vulnerability scanners, firewalls, IDS/IPS.
• Familiarity with security frameworks NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2 and CIS.
