About the role
The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a contractor to provide specialized proton clinical medical physics support. This role contributes to the safe and effective delivery of proton therapy within a collaborative academic health environment.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver proton therapy physics services for clinical patients.
- Perform quality assurance, calibration, and safety checks on proton equipment.
- Support treatment planning and dose verification activities.
- Collaborate with physicians, dosimetrists, and radiation therapists to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain compliance with institutional, state, and federal regulations, including vaccination and work‑authorization requirements.
Required profile
- Degree in medical physics or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated ability in proton clinical medical physics support.
- Eligibility to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
- Full COVID‑19 vaccination or an approved exemption.
