About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is seeking a Contract Worker (CW) Locum Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to provide inpatient care on a shift‑varying schedule. This temporary position supports the hospital’s mission to deliver high‑quality patient care while fostering teamwork and diversity.

Key responsibilities

Deliver direct inpatient nursing care to patients in accordance with UAMS clinical protocols.

Required profile

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
Full COVID‑19 vaccination or an approved medical/religious exemption.
