Customer Service Representative

About the role

Copart is an online vehicle auction platform with over 200 facilities worldwide, connecting vehicle sellers to buyers in more than 190 countries. The Customer Service Representative (CSR) provides exceptional service to internal and external customers and is often the first point of contact. The main function is to obtain the release of vehicles held at body shops and other locations, including residences, while also performing other office support tasks as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Answer and place calls professionally, measured on call quality (knowledge, professionalism, time to follow up)
• Focus on resolving calls and use company resources to gather information and offer solutions
• Understand client needs and offer solutions and support
• The position may expand to include chat and email customer support
• Other duties as assigned

Required profile

• High school diploma
• One year of office support experience in a customer service role preferred
• Bilingual skills are a plus
• Occasional overtime as needed

• Excellent customer service skills and attitude
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Proficiency with office equipment and computer proficiency (MS Office suite)
• Typing speed of 45 WPM
• Attention to detail, problem solving and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Professional appearance
