Customer Service Representative – Freight Logistics

About the role

The Customer Service Representative supports customers and internal staff by tracking and monitoring freight movement, maintaining positive relationships, and using retention techniques to ensure customers feel valued.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily freight tracing and provide status updates to customers.
• Assist other terminals with freight‑related issues and coordinate resolutions.
• Use customer‑retention strategies to resolve concerns and promote company goals.
• Maintain accurate records of freight movements and communications.

Required profile

• Strong communication and telephone skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and handle stressful situations.
• General office and customer‑service experience.
• Basic knowledge of Windows, Outlook and other Microsoft products.
• Typing speed of 30+ words per minute.
• Preferred: 2+ years of clerk or similar experience in a fast‑pace setting and freight‑logistics background.
