Customer Service Representative - Closet Solutions

About the role

Richelieu, a North American distributor, importer and manufacturer of specialty hardware, is looking for a Customer Service Representative to support its closet solutions business. The role is full time, Monday to Friday, reporting directly to the Operations Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Obtain, analyze and verify the accuracy of order information in a timely manner
• Answer customer phone calls for orders and provide sales quotes
• Work closely with outside sales representatives on orders and quotes
• Assist walk-in customers in the showroom with questions and order placement
• Solicit new or complimentary sales by phone and face-to-face in the showroom
• Research product solutions for customers to solve field-project issues

Required profile

• Related experience in a similar position
• Knowledge of cabinetry, kitchen and bath or similar building materials
• High school graduate; some college courses preferred
• Team player who shows initiative and has a strong sense of drive and creativity

Required skills

• Developed customer service, problem-solving and project management skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word and Outlook
• AS400 experience preferred but not mandatory
