Customer Service Representative / Appointment Setter

About the role

A full-time Customer Service Representative / Appointment Setter is needed to manage inbound customer inquiries, schedule appointments, follow up on sales opportunities and support the sales team. The role is paid $7 per hour, Monday to Friday during US Central Time business hours, and is remote.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls professionally and gather customer information, project details, product interests, location and timelines
• Qualify and route inquiries to the right sales consultant or department, and provide high-level product information
• Schedule and confirm appointments, and make outbound calls to confirm appointments and installation schedules
• Follow up on estimates and proposals, work through outbound call lists and track results
• Document calls, leads and follow-ups in the CRM and respond to voicemails, messages and after-hours inquiries
• Handle customer concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary
• Monitor and report call volume, appointments set and follow-up performance
• Support social media content creation and posting of approved content, and take part in team meetings and training

Required profile

• At least 3 years of experience in customer service, inside sales, appointment setting or call center operations
• Excellent spoken and written English, with a warm, clear phone presence
• Comfortable with high call volumes, outbound calls, objection handling and follow-ups
• Self-motivated, reliable and able to work remotely; high-speed internet and a quiet home workspace required
• Preferred: experience in home services, construction or manufacturing, and previous appointment-setting or outbound sales experience

Required skills

• Proficiency in CRM systems, phone systems and business software
• Typing speed of 60-75+ WPM
• Ability to follow structured scripts while keeping conversations natural
• Preferred: familiarity with CRM platforms and automation tools, and basic social media content creation with Canva, Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn
