Customer Service Representative (10:00am-6:00pm shift)

About the role

We are seeking a Remote Customer Service Representative to join our team and provide high‑quality support to participants and clients. After completing a 3–4 week training program, you will handle inbound calls and emails, assisting with account inquiries, benefit processes, and technical issues.

Key responsibilities

• Answer phone calls and emails from participants regarding password resets, account balances, debit card issues, claim submissions, and card orders.
• Process benefit‑related forms such as pay frequency entries, debit‑card authorization forms, and HIPAA documentation.
• Research and respond to claims questions and send routine confirmation or documentation requests.
• Log and tag calls to ensure accurate internal communication and excellent customer care.
• Maintain high standards of service that reflect the company’s core values.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Customer Services Manager.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• At least one year of professional experience, preferably in a high‑volume call‑center environment.
• Experience with benefits management (CDH and COBRA) is highly preferred.
• Availability to attend 3–4 weeks of training (Mon‑Fri, 8:30 am‑5 pm EST) and then work the 10:00 am‑6:00 pm EST shift.
• Reliable high‑speed internet with a hard‑wired Ethernet connection.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to handle conflict professionally.

Required skills

• Experience using a CRM system.
• Familiarity with the Alegeus platform.
