Customer Service Attendant (Porter)

About the role

TravelCenters of America is looking for a Customer Service Attendant (Porter) to keep its travel centers clean, safe and welcoming for thousands of motorists each day. You will work in a fast‑paced retail environment, ensuring facilities meet the company’s high standards of hygiene and customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Clean all designated areas of the travel center according to TA standards.
• Maintain a sanitary environment for guests and staff.
• Follow safety and security procedures, reporting any hazards.
• Wear and use protective equipment correctly.
• Manage and use appropriate cleaning supplies for each task.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Required profile

• Dedicated team player who enjoys interacting with customers.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and use protective gear.
