Customer Service Agent - Full-Time

About the role

SkyWest Airlines is hiring a full-time Customer Service Agent in Aspen, Colorado. The agent provides front-line service to passengers, greeting them, issuing tickets, assigning seats, checking baggage, boarding flights, helping those without luggage and rebooking passengers, all in a prompt and friendly manner. The position starts at $20 per hour and is not a Department of Transportation safety-sensitive position.

Key responsibilities

• Greet passengers, issue tickets, provide seat assignments, check baggage, board flights, help customers arriving without luggage and rebook passengers
• Assist passengers with special needs and resolve customer complaints
• Communicate clearly with ground personnel and flight crews
• Calmly handle situations such as canceled and delayed flights
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required profile

• 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or GED
• Pass a pre-placement background check and drug screen
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Able to lift 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation
• Flexible schedule, including split shifts during early mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays; occasional overtime due to operational disruptions
