Customer Innovation Engineer – Powertrain Solutions

About the role

As a Customer Innovation Engineer in Powertrain Solutions, you will act as the primary technical liaison for Bosch’s North American automotive customers. You will help translate customer needs into innovative powertrain concepts, ranging from internal‑combustion engines to hybrid and electrified systems.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the engineering interface for customers on ICE, hybrid, electrified, fuel‑cell, thermal‑management, electronics, software and connected‑powertrain projects.
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to drive powertrain innovation and acquisition programs.
• Lead cross‑functional project teams to ensure portfolio alignment and high customer satisfaction.
• Engage customers in advanced engineering collaborations and product‑innovation activities.
• Provide technical input to sales and R&D teams for pre‑selling and voice‑of‑the‑customer activities.
